Staging isn’t for everyone and can only be fully utilised in vacant properties, however working with your agent or a staging advisor can help prepare a property to ensure a bonus price is achieved. I generally follow the rule that with smaller items such as painting, re carpeting and upgrade of boilers that buyers will factor at least double the real cost if they must plan to undertake the works themselves.
